CHEF
The position of chef is one of the most important and demanding positions aboard Nekton vessels. It is the chefs responsibility to manage the restaurant and bar operations and to fill our guests days with delicious adventures! Aboard Nekton vessels, you'll be cooking healthful, nutritious American food with a Caribbean flare. Presentation, taste and attention to detail are of utmost importance.
Key Duties
- Food Inventory Management
- Storing of all food provisions
- Menu planning
- Prepare Meals and Snacks for Guests and Crew including:
- Continental Breakfast
- Hot Breakfast
- Morning Snacks
- Lunch
- Afternoon Snacks
- Dinner
- Dessert
- Late Evening Snacks
- Determine time and sequence of cooking operations to meet meal-serving hours
- Supervision of Dinning Steward/Galley Assistant
- Food Presentation
- Maintain Galley Equipment
- Galley Sanitation, Safety and Cleanliness
