"Dream, Dive, Discover the Underwater World of Belize."

Central and Southern Itineraries:

Join us in discovering the incredible atoll’s of the Turneffe Islands, Glovers Reef and Lighthouse Reef. Located on the Caribbean coast of Central America, Belize is rich in history and unspoiled natural attractions ranging from its rainforests to beautiful coral reefs. Traveling to Belize City is quite accessible by commercial flights offered by Continental, American and Taca Airlines. If your schedule allows, we recommend that you plan to spend a day or two before or after your cruise to explore this ecotourism-minded country. You can easily arrange tours of ancient Mayan ruins, the Belize Zoo or Belize City and the surrounding areas through our reservations department.

Note: Travelling to Belize requires that U.S. and Canadian citizens have a PASSPORT that is valid for at least 6 months after they first enter Belize. You will be granted a 30 day visa. Citizens of other countries are REQUIRED to have valid visas and passports. Please check with your local issuing agency.

Diving Adventure Itinerary

While each Belize cruise may vary due to weather and sea conditions, the outline below will give you a good feel for the adventure you could experience!

Saturday:
Nekton departs from the Port Authority Dock in Belize City. When you arrive on Saturday, a Nekton crew member will meet you at the airport. If you arrive before your sailing date and are staying at a local hotel, you may easily hire a taxi cab from the airport to transport you to your hotel. Enjoy dinner ashore on your own prior to boarding.

Pickups at the Princess Hotel are at 7:00 pm for transportation to the Nekton Pilot. On the way, our van will stop at a liquor store/grocery store so you may purchase sodas, alcoholic beverages. Captain’s briefing begins at 9:00 pm after which the Nekton Pilot departs for the Atolls.

Sunday - Friday:
Nekton departs for dive sites along the atolls of Glovers Reef (Southern Itinerary - weather permitting), Turneffe Islands and Lighthouse Reef (Central Itinerary). The diving here includes walls that begin at approximately 30-50 feet of water and plung into the deep blue. Visibility is excellent along the walls typically exceeding 100 feet. During the week, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore scenic Half Moon Caye and its bird sanctuary.
Enjoy at least 4 - 5 dives per day, including a night  dive and the opportunity to snorkel on the last Friday of your cruise should you be flying out early on the Saturday of departure.  A typical day goes something like this:

6 - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast Buffet (optional dawn dive on some days)
